The Celebrity Poker craze has taken the world by storm! When your favorite stars aren’t making movies or music they love to unwind in casinos and play poker. Celebs love the rush of high stakes poker. That REAL money poker.  It’s great when you hit that winning streak,..but rumor has it that Jay Z lost half a mil on one hand in Vegas!! Other Hollywood high rollers include: Ben Affleck, Jennifer Tilly, Leonardo Di Caprio, Shannon Elizabeth & Tobey Maguire.

According to ABC, Ben Affleck was the first celeb to win a major open poker tournament. Last year, he beat out 90 players in the California State Poker Championship and won almost $400,000! The craze has also taken reality tv by storm. Over the past few years, there have been several shows dedicated to poker, specifically celebrity poker including: Celebrity Poker Showdown, Hollywood Poker Night, Poker Royale, Poker Superstars and the list goes on. Poker looks like a blast to play..and if you have the money..why not have some fun? You can even get some practice with online poker!  It doesn’t look like this poker craze is going anywhere anytime soon!

Lifestyle: Celebrities paint the town in Vegas!

Celebs always know how to have a good time. When they want to get away from the hustle & bustle of Hollywood and NYC, they hit Vegas! Many celebs are lucky enough to combine business with pleasure earning big bucks to host and party at famous nightclubs & lounges. A few months ago Charlie Sheen was reportedly offered $200,000 to host a party for one night, plus luxury jet & hotel …now that’s #winning! Speaking of hotels, if you want to stalk err be sure to have some sightings, a few celebrity hot spots include The Venetian, Hard Rock Hotel, Caesars Palace , The Palms & MGM Grand. The Wet Republic at MGM is a popular spot for pool parties and a favorite for celebs like Rihanna, Kim Kardashian, and Diddy.  After the pool party, its time for some gambling. Celebrities love to drop dough on casino games.

These high rollers love playing poker, craps, and can spend hours unwinding at the blackjack table. Some have been known to spend over $5,000 or MORE per hand!  Partying, gambling, sipping on expensive champagne. The sky seems to be the limit with these stars. Although we aren’t celebs we all can still have an amazing time in sin city. I was there two weeks celebrating my birthday. I even got to see Kim Kardashian’s fiance, Kris Humphries and a crew filming at The Venetian! If you want to unwind, and party like a rockstar you too can paint the town in Vegas.

SAG Awards 2011 Winners and fashion highlights
