Caressa Cameron is the new Miss America 2010!

Caressa Cameron, 22 of Virginia was crowned the new Miss America 2010 last night at the Planet Hollywood resort and casino in Las Vegas. Caressa is a broadcast student at Virginia Commonwealth University. Caressa impressed the judges with her rendition of Beyonce’s Listen from the movie Dreamgirls,[Watch performance HERE] and with her answer to a question about physical fitness and childhood obesity. Cameron’s prize was a $50,000 scholarship! Congrats!

Zoe Saldana is Avon’s newest face

The beautiful Avatar star has been named the newest face of an Avon fragrance, Eternal Magic which will debut in April. The fragrance takes inspiration from the rare Princess Monaco Rose.  Saldana will also be featured in the company’s brochure as a face of Avon’s Color Cosmetics Collections. Geralyn Breig, Senior Vice President and President of Avon North America, says of Saldana,

I have 13 year old sisters and I tell them the same thing…to find something about yourself that you love..and love yourself so much that whatever other people say..it will disintegrate by the time it hits your ears.
