Halle Berry looks beautiful, as usual gracing the Septmeber issue of Vogue Magazine.  In a candid interview, she opens up about her breakup with long time boyfriend Gabriel Aubrey, and the biggest misconceptions about her & relationships spread by the media.

“That I am this brooding, twisted, lovesick person who just can’t get it right in life. Every story about me is so heavy and dramatic. That’s not how I do life,” Berry told the magazine. ”As if I’m still stuck in all the muck of the past. And I am so not.”

“By the time [the breakup] hit the papers — full of rumors and lies, with people having to make up problems between us — Gabriel and I had long dealt with it. We were done,” she said. “And we were on a good foot.”

Halle & Gabriel are still friends and will raise Nahla.

“You realize you are not meant to go the distance with everybody. We were meant to bring this amazing little person into the world. And I think that’s why we came together,” the actress shared. “And because of that, we are going to be together forever, all three of us.”

Glad Halle cleared the air…people always have an opinion on someone’s situation/relationship.

I’m saddened to report the world’s sexiest couple has split after almost 5 years together. According to TMZ,  Halle Berry & Gabriel Aubry have worked out a short term custody agreement for their 2 year old daughter Nahla and are “working well together” handling their parental duties without conflict.

Rumors are buzzing surrounding the split:

A source speculates to Radar that their age difference (she’s 43, he’s 34) was a strain on the relationship.

“Gabriel just felt it wasn’t working anymore,” the source said. “When they were first together the 9-year age difference between them didn’t faze him, she was the most beautiful woman he had ever dated and he was totally in love. But as time went on he started feeling it more and more. Also, Gabriel started noticing other women, and being attracted to other, and he felt it just wasn’t right to stay with Halle in those circumstances.”

If this is true..the grass ain’t always greener…

We have been blessed with the most amazing daughter in the world, and her happiness and well-being are the most important thing for both of us. Please respect our privacy during this very difficult time.”

Eva Longoria launched her new fragrance Eva yesterday in Hollywood, CA. Eva is a light and fresh scent. It includes top notes of citrus, neroli, and bergamot tea while the center includes sheer jasmine, violet and freesia. Once applied to skin, the scent dries with finishing notes of musk, amber and sandalwood.  I can’t wait to try it!

I lived that life for 20-something years, and now my life is different, but I have my foot in both worlds. I have found myself lately saying it needs to be more simple. I can’t have all these people around, especially once you have children. I’ve been able to always keep a good perspective. I’ve never, thank God, gone completely off into the stratosphere. I’m not saying I haven’t had my moments [laughs], but I’m always able to come back.”
