Happy Birthday Monica!
R&b singer Monica turned 29 today. Her new reality show Still Standing will premiere on BET Oct. 27. According to BET Viewers will have the chance to experience the many facets of Monica’s life as she balances family, deals with her own body and health challenges, creates her fifth album and tackles the hardest job of all – being a full-time mother of two young sons. In this series, Monica will open her heart and life to viewers & take them on her personal journey of survival and enlightenment. Be sure to tune in.. Weezy’s goin to jail
Well, looks like Lil Wayne is going to jail. According to MSNBC, Dwayne Carter, 27, plead guilty today to attempted weapons possession in a NY courtroom. He’s expected to receive a one year jail sentence. Police pulled over Wayne’s tour bus after seeing and smelling marijuana smoke coming out of the door before leaving a concert venue back in July 2007. They found a .40 caliber semi automatic loaded gun. He is currently free on bail awaiting his February sentencing. Lil Wayne is also scheduled for a trial in Arizona. He faces drug possession and weapon charges and has pleaded not guilty in that case which stems from a January 2008 arrest at a U.S border patrol checkpoint. Agents found 105 grams (3.7 ounces) of marijuana, 29 grams (1 ounce) of cocaine, 41 grams (1.45 ounces) of ecstasy and more than $22,000.
New Music: Robin Thicke-Sex Therapy
Robin Thicke’s hot new single Sex Therapy has been released and already has the airwaves and internet buzzin. I love this track. It’s very sexy and has a little bit of a Maxwell/Prince vibe to it. The album will be in stores December 8, and is is also called Sex Therapy. If this title/single indicates the feel of the entire album I can’t wait.

Rihanna premieres new single: Russian Roulette
Just a little while ago, Rihanna premiered her new single Russian Roulette. It’s the first single off her new album entitled Rated R which will be in stores Nov. 23. RiRi is back with stronger vocals and an even edgier image. The new single cover is craazy. She’s a bad biatch and i love it lol. I think she has a hit on her hands Listen to Russian Roulette here

Kim Kardashian’s West Hollywood condo is on the market, and for 1,099,000 million it could be yours. The luxurious 1,750 sq foot condo has 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths. The trendy building is located near the famous Robertson Blvd where some of the most popular high-end boutiques and cafes are.

Leona Lewis punched during book signing
Where is security when you need them? British singer Leona Lewis was punched in the head by a deranged “fan” during a book signing in London on Wednesday, her spokesman said.
Lewis, had been signing copies of her autobiography Dreams for around 90 minutes at a book store in the upmarket Piccadilly district of London when “a guy came up and punched her to the side of the head,” the spokesman said.The three-time Grammy Award nominee suffered bruising to the side of her head and was “understandably badly shaken.”
The spokesman said he did not hear the man say anything to Lewis during the “unprovoked” incident and security officers swiftly intervened. A police spokesman said a man had been arrested in connection with the alleged assault. Lewis, 24, was the winner of a X Factor TV talent show in 2006. In 2008, she became the first British woman to top the US charts for more than 20 years with her single “Bleeding Love”.

Jlo & Marc celebrate his birthday in DC & hang with the Obamas.
Last night, Marc Anthony had a 41st birthday to remember. He & wifey got the royal treatment in DC complete with an Oval office tour, and birthday party. After the tour, J.lo and Marc got glammed up for the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute’s black-tie gala, where Marc was receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award. While the president was presenting his award, he said Marc is quite popular with Latina Congress members.
“I’m telling you, J.Lo, watch out,” Obama joked from the podium.
Justice Sonia Sotomayor also joined their table during the fancy soiree. Last month, Jennifer threw the newest Supreme Court justice a dinner party at her house. After the gala, the couple changed and headed to the W Hotel in D.C., where J.Lo helped Marc blow out the candles on a yummy looking chocolate cake. Hmm I think I know what I want to do for my next birthday

Chris Brown’s heart is “incomplete”.
Chris Brown has been in a slump this week and has been expressing it via his twitter page. In two posts (which have since been taken down), he wrote, “sorry yall, just one of those days’ and linked to a You Tube video with pictures of him and Rihanna in happier days with the lyrics to ‘Changed Man’ playing.
In a second post he said, ’”MY HEART IS INCOMPLETE… the part that is complete is my love for fans, career, friends, family.. god. but I’m missing someone or something.” As word got around, as it generally does with twitter, Chris removed the previous post and wrote, “I AINT POSTIN S*** ELSE ABOUT ME(PERSONALLY)…. IM SO OVER ALL THIS BULLS***..” I suppose I could say he did this to himself and deserves everything he gets..but i won’t 
oops.
