It’s a girl for Beyonce and Jay-Z!
According to eonline, Beyonce has given birth at Lenox Hill Hospital in NYC. Beyonce & Jay Z reportedly rented out an entire floor for 1.4 mil so they could have plenty of privacy. Security has been on high alert in the area, patrolling the grounds outside the Upper East Side hospital. Employees were also asked to hand over cell phones during their shifts to prevent info from leaking out about Beyonce’s labor details. Security cameras in the building were covered in tape to keep images from getting out to the public.

The baby’s name is rumored to be Blue Ivy Carter! Congrats to Bey & Jay

News: Andy Rooney of 60 minutes dies
I’m saddened to report that Andy Rooney of 60 minutes passed away last night. He was 92 years old. According to the Associated Press, Rooney had gone to the hospital for an undislosed surgery, developed complications & never recovered. 60 minutes aired his first commentary on July 2, 1978. Rooney died one month after delivering his final 1,097th televised commentary. For his final essay, Rooney said he’d lived a life luckier than most.

Rooney was married for 62 years to wife Marguerite before she died in 2004. They had 4 children. Services will be private, but CBS will most likely hold a memorial at a later date.

Amy Winehouse found dead at 27
I’m saddened to report that Amy Winehouse was found dead in her London home early this morning. The troubled singer had a long history with drug addiction and most recently checked into rehab back in May, however the cause of death is still “unknown” at this stage.
In a statement, the London Metropolitan Police said, “Police were called by London Ambulance Service to an address in Camden Square NW1 shortly before 16.05hrs today, Saturday 23 July, following reports of a woman found deceased. On arrival officers found the body of a 27-year-old female who was pronounced dead at the scene.
Recently her manager tweeted that she was cancelling upcoming shows, however she performed in a surprise appearance at the iTunes Festival on July 20th.

Naomi Campbell threatening to sue over “racist” Cadbury Chocolate ad
Naomi Campbell is threatening to sue Cadbury Chocolate. I wonder who caught the cell phone wrath. She is upset that they used her name in an ad for their Dairy Milk Bliss Bar. -Move over Naomi, there’s a new diva in town…I’m the world’s most pampered bar.
“I am shocked. It’s upsetting to be described as chocolate, not just for me, but for all black women and black people, …I do not find any humor in this. It is insulting and hurtful.”
A spokesperson for Cadbury says that while the ad campaign was “a light-hearted take on the social pretensions of Cadbury Dairy Milk Bliss,” the campaign was “no longer in circulation.” Some say the ad was most likely referring to Naomi’s “infamous anger issues”..full story on NY Daily News.
Activists in the UK are calling for a boycott of Cadbury…I don’t see anything wrong with the ad. Thoughts?

Kim Kardashian will soon be off the market…her boyfriend of 6 months, New Jersey Nets foward Kris Humphries proposed to Kimmy in her Beverly Hills home May 18. According to People Magazine, the proposal was super romantic. Kris was waiting on bended knee and spelled out 4 words in red rose petals “WILL YOU MARRY ME?”
It was all a big surprise to Kim, who says she never thought it would happen at home and she never thought “now“. Her beau had a 20.5-carat Lorraine Schwartz diamond sparkler. “I just knew I wanted it to be big,” says Humphries, 26, who, with the help of Mama Jenner, planned an intimate family celebration later that evening. Congrats to the happy couple!

Mariah & Nick welcome twins + LINKS PLEEZE
Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon FINALLY welcomed their twins into the world yesterday, which was also the couples 3rd anniversary, what a gift! Mariah delivered the twins at 12:07pm. The baby girl was born first, weighing 5 lbs, 3oz followed by her brother 5 lbs, 6 oz. Names have not been disclosed. The couples listened to Mariah’s hit We Belong Together after the babies were born. Awww : ) .
