It’s a girl for Beyonce and Jay-Z!
According to eonline, Beyonce has given birth at Lenox Hill Hospital in NYC. Beyonce & Jay Z reportedly rented out an entire floor for 1.4 mil so they could have plenty of privacy. Security has been on high alert in the area, patrolling the grounds outside the Upper East Side hospital. Employees were also asked to hand over cell phones during their shifts to prevent info from leaking out about Beyonce’s labor details. Security cameras in the building were covered in tape to keep images from getting out to the public.
Talk about top secret!
The baby’s name is rumored to be Blue Ivy Carter! Congrats to Bey & Jay

The Celebrity Poker craze has taken the world by storm! When your favorite stars aren’t making movies or music they love to unwind in casinos and play poker. Celebs love the rush of high stakes poker. That REAL money poker. It’s great when you hit that winning streak,..but rumor has it that Jay Z lost half a mil on one hand in Vegas!! Other Hollywood high rollers include: Ben Affleck, Jennifer Tilly, Leonardo Di Caprio, Shannon Elizabeth & Tobey Maguire.
According to ABC, Ben Affleck was the first celeb to win a major open poker tournament. Last year, he beat out 90 players in the California State Poker Championship and won almost $400,000! The craze has also taken reality tv by storm. Over the past few years, there have been several shows dedicated to poker, specifically celebrity poker including: Celebrity Poker Showdown, Hollywood Poker Night, Poker Royale, Poker Superstars and the list goes on. Poker looks like a blast to play..and if you have the money..why not have some fun? You can even get some practice with online poker! It doesn’t look like this poker craze is going anywhere anytime soon!

News: Andy Rooney of 60 minutes dies
I’m saddened to report that Andy Rooney of 60 minutes passed away last night. He was 92 years old. According to the Associated Press, Rooney had gone to the hospital for an undislosed surgery, developed complications & never recovered. 60 minutes aired his first commentary on July 2, 1978. Rooney died one month after delivering his final 1,097th televised commentary. For his final essay, Rooney said he’d lived a life luckier than most.
“I wish I could do this forever. I can’t though” he said
Rooney was married for 62 years to wife Marguerite before she died in 2004. They had 4 children. Services will be private, but CBS will most likely hold a memorial at a later date.
Kim Kardashian’s letter to her fans
As you may know by now, Kim Kardashian filed for divorce from Kris Humphries yesterday after being married for only 72 days. Today, Kim wrote a letter to her fans thanking them for support and addressing reports of a publicity stunt..etc. She also admits to rushing into things to quickly, wanting a family and babies badly, & not wanting to disappoint everyone during all the wedding hoopla.
