The "beach" look is a popular way to wear your hair. The look means your hair is slightly curly or wavy like you just got home from the beach. If you don't live by a beach or it's too cold to go to the beach, you can get this look right at home.
Get the Beachy Look
Saltwater is the main ingredient in the "beachy" look. Saltwater, wind and sun made your hair look chic and naturally wavy. You can get that look right at home without the beach. Fill an empty spray bottle with water (about 8 oz). Add two, very large, tablespoonfuls of sea salt to the water. Shake the bottle to dissolve the salt into the water. If you need some added texture, mix a teaspoon of hair gel into the saltwater and shake the bottle well. Take a shower to wet your hair, but do not use shampoo. When you get out of the shower, towel dry your hair. Spritz the saltwater to hair. Apply it liberally to your head, combing your hair through with your fingers. Scrunch up your hair with your fingers to a super wavy look and allow your hair to air dry. The saltwater both nourishes and texturizes your hair for that off-the-beach look.

Summer is here and it’s time to buy a beach bag. The pickyguide.com gives a description of the most common types. If you’re going to buy one, it’s best to choose a neutral color so that it goes with all your beach outfits. If your going to buy one for each bathing suit, make sure the colors are coordinated, but not over done in a matchy matchy kind of way.
Kinds of Beach Bags include the following:
Tote beach bags
Tote bags are long and wide bags that lie flat on a surface when empty. They have short handles meant to be carried by hand. Tote beach bags are usually made of canvas and are ideal for storing beach towels, clothes, slippers, lotions, and sunglasses.
Shoulder beach bags
Shoulder bags have two long shoulder straps. They are ideal for carrying heavier beach essentials such as small radios, boom boxes, CD players, shoes, and water bottles.
Straw beach bags
Straw beach bags are designed for carrying small, personal items such as sunscreens, keys, and wallets. They are available in bright colors.
Backpack style beach bags
Backpack-style beach bags are ideal for carrying heavier items hands free.
It seems everyone looks better wearing oversized shades. They hide the dark circles under your eyes from a late night, they block the sun so you won’t wrinkle. There isn’t just one style, there are many…from the famous ‘Jackie O’ style, to the large Wayfarer. The trick is finding the right pair to fit your frame and find a guide on how to do that HERE.
