TV: NeNe Leakes leaves Celebrity Apprentice: “I had to walk out of the show for my own sanity”

By now, all of you Celebrity Apprentice viewers probably know that NeNe Leakes bailed last night. I must say, I was very disappointed..although I have a love/hate relationship with NeNe, I felt quitting when you’re so close to the end was just wrong. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t live for the NeNe/Star drama too. lol #justsayin.

NeNe recently told TMZ that she felt good about leaving because Trump constantly disrespected her in front of and behind the cameras, and always tried to accommodate Star Jones, most recently switching up the teams on last nights episode. Her feud with Star was REAL. She felt the producers were always trying to provoke her and that all the manipulating was “very toxic..a very toxic situation.”

“I’m not a quitter or a loser … I had to walk out of the show for my own sanity. I feel good about leaving and I don’t regret it. I don’t believe you need to act like that for charity.”

NeNe took to twitter to express a few thoughts last night:

Your damned if u do & damned if u don’t! It’s great TV 4 u guys but all the things that were happening there wasn’t good 4 me

And her response to Trumps statement about Star Jones kicking her ass?

Mr Trump, Barack Obama is kicking yo ass! Now what?
