Halle Berry & Gabriel Aubry split!

I’m saddened to report the world’s sexiest couple has split after almost 5 years together. According to TMZ,  Halle Berry & Gabriel Aubry have worked out a short term custody agreement for their 2 year old daughter Nahla and are “working well together” handling their parental duties without conflict.

Rumors are buzzing surrounding the split:

A source speculates to Radar that their age difference (she’s 43, he’s 34) was a strain on the relationship.

“Gabriel just felt it wasn’t working anymore,” the source said. “When they were first together the 9-year age difference between them didn’t faze him, she was the most beautiful woman he had ever dated and he was totally in love. But as time went on he started feeling it more and more. Also, Gabriel started noticing other women, and being attracted to other, and he felt it just wasn’t right to stay with Halle in those circumstances.”

If this is true..the grass ain’t always greener…

“While I will not comment on all of the wild inaccuracies being speculated about in the media, I am sad to say that Halle and I have decided together to separate at this time. She is, and will forever be one of the most special and beautiful people that I have ever known, and I am certain that we will continue to have only love and respect for one another. We have been blessed with the most amazing daughter in the world, and her happiness and well-being are the most important thing for both of us. Please respect our privacy during this very difficult time.”
